I was just getting fed up with mixcraft, and wanted to try and find something new. I ran into that a lot using windows drivers and a yeti blue mic.īut my question is- should I consider moving to reaper? I don't have a huge budget, and I don't think i'd be working with studios, but I want a program that can handle what I want to do best. I've used mostly mixcraft, but I seem to be running into a lot of issues during recordings with things not sounding right or the program likes to skip in the middle of me recording something so everything is a little bit off. We use a lot of instruments for recording, but I also like to add in some 'sonic landscapes' with some virtual instruments like synths or pads now and then.
